Clear-View, Inc. recently completed an essential bollard installation project at a mini-storage facility in the Charlotte area. This project arose from a unique challenge: clients were driving all the way up to the facility’s sliding glass doors, with some even attempting to drive inside to unload their belongings. This not only posed a safety risk but also threatened potential damage to the facility’s new sliding glass doors.
To address this issue, our team implemented a durable and practical solution. We core-drilled the existing concrete and installed two 6-inch bollards, each set three feet into the ground. These bollards were then filled with concrete for added strength and durability, ensuring they can withstand significant impact. To complete the installation, we poured concrete around the base of the bollards and painted them safety yellow for maximum visibility. This combination of sturdy construction and vibrant color serves as a clear visual and physical barrier, effectively preventing vehicles from approaching too closely.
